Welcome aboard Flight 104 of the Squawk Ident Podcast - the Speed of Heat. Recorded from the mobile Av8r Sound Studios at the Maui Coast Hotel, in Kihei, on the island of Maui.

On today’s flight Captain Roger and I sit down with an aviator that has agreed to share his remarkable journey in aviation with us. He started out on an aviation path at birth, born into an aviation family of historic proportions. A discovery flight at the age of 13 quickly cemented his resolve to earn his wings. After attending the University of Oklahoma he joined the U.S. Air Force where he flew KC-135s. He later followed in his mother's footsteps when he joined the ranks at "Legacy Airlines", where he has earned type ratings in the 75/76 and Airbus family of aircraft. Today we sit down with Captain Rob Cosand.

So stay with us while we run our final checks, as we prepare to push back from the gate, Flight 104 of the Squawk Ident podcast is officially under way.
