Flight 38 - Flight Schedules, No Furloughs, & Remember When

Flight 38 - Flight Schedules, No Furloughs, & Remember When

Author: Av8rTony April 23, 2020 Duration: 1:50:08

Recorded on the 21st of April, 2020

On this episode RobD, Roger, and I discuss our recent flight schedules (or lack-there-of), and we compare how long our beards can grow before we need to shave them before we need to go flying again. We discuss the LAX at home program and how Southwest leadership has declared no furloughs ahead. We also dive into a new segment we call "Remember When", where we explore some of the lessons we picked up in our general aviation flight training, all those years ago, and how those early moments have shaped how we operate as aviators today.

Ever wondered what it actually takes to build a life in the skies? Squawk Ident-an Aviation Podcast pulls back the curtain on the aviation profession, moving beyond the glamour to the real conversations happening in cockpits and crew rooms. Hosted by Av8rTony alongside a seasoned panel including Captain Roger, Captain Rob, Alex, and Terry, each episode feels like joining a candid hangar chat. But this isn't just a procedural guide; it's a collection of lived experiences. The heart of the podcast lies in the stories shared, those moments of triumph, humility, and sometimes sheer unpredictability that every aviator accumulates.
