S1E8: Taiwan’s engineers might solve Silicon Valley’s talent shortage

Under the impact of COVID-19, remote work has become an irreversible trend. International talent acquisition and management has become an emerging tide. What kind of role does Taiwan play in this new trend? 

The competence of Taiwanese top talents is undoubted and recognized around the world. However, the domestic job market lacks suitable opportunities which meet their expectations. Good news is : Silicon Valley startups have begun to seek talents abroad actively since August, 2021. Moreover, they offer generous treatment to international top talents. So, how to successfully connect Taiwanese top talents with Silicon Valley?

We invited two veterans in talent acquisition: Gene Chuang, mentor at Mucker Capital and also the founder of CTO slackers who has experience in management of the U.S. CTO network and Tiwen Lin, the founder of Silicon Valley talent acquisition startup Worca, to share their experience about international talent acquisition and the prospect and development of these talents in the U.S.
