An Israeli & Iranian Speak

Hosted by Adar Weinreb, Sulha-Israel, Palestine & Beyond is a conversation rooted in the complex and often painful realities of conflict, beginning in the Middle East and extending to global divisions. The title comes from the Arabic word for "reconciliation," and that spirit guides every episode. This isn't a debate platform or a news recap, but a deliberate space for human stories and perspectives frequently left out of mainstream narratives. You'll hear from activists, journalists, everyday citizens, and experts whose lives are intimately shaped by these tensions, offering personal context that statistics cannot capture. The podcast operates as an audio extension of a broader grassroots project dedicated to bridging profound divides. Listeners will find episodes that explore history, identity, and politics without sensationalism, aiming to replace simplistic judgments with a more nuanced understanding. The focus is on transforming how we communicate about conflict-moving beyond entrenched arguments to hear the humanity on all sides. By prioritizing dialogue over monologue, the series seeks to inspire not just reflection but tangible, real-world action toward connection. It’s an inclusive community in audio form, built on the belief that challenging conversations are necessary steps on a longer path. Tune in for a thoughtful, often challenging, and ultimately hopeful exploration of what it means to listen and find common ground.
