My Journey to Revitalize the Original SUP Magazine – Standup Journal -Evelyn O'Doherty

My Journey to Revitalize the Original SUP Magazine – Standup Journal -Evelyn O'Doherty

Author: Simon Hutchinson October 26, 2020 Duration: 52:58

Let's face it, taking over a magazine in the face of all the digital content proliferating our screens these days is a tough task. Evelyn O'Doherty relates the story of how she came to be at the forefront of stand up paddle's "Stand Up Journal". It certainly takes different thinking and some dogged determination to bring a beautiful coffee table publication into our homes every season (they release four issues a year).

I chat to her about her stand up paddle origins way back in 2007/2008, her first competition in the Caribbean and the thriving community of paddlers in the north east of the USA. We cover a lot of ground and it's a super fun conversation that I really enjoyed, I hope you do too!
