Whitewater SUP - With Emma Love

Whitewater SUP - With Emma Love

Author: Simon Hutchinson November 9, 2020 Duration: 1:09:48

Emma Love is well known in the UK whitewater community as one of a select band of ambassadors for the #shepaddles programme run by British Canoeing.

Emma soon realised that flat water didn't supply the requisite learning curve, so threw herself into the whitewater world, battering any stereotypes and emerging as a WW instructor and a leading light of the WW movement.

In this chat Emma talks about what attracted her to whitewater and her struggles to juggle the various obstacles facing her as a woman to achieve her target of becoming a specialist instructor.

In this episode we discuss the dangers of SUP leash entrapment, check out the video here from Barry Hughes Paddlesport

The River Sup Guy is also a great WW resource here
