What brought us joy in 2020

So let’s be honest here: 2020 sucked hard for just about everyone except maybe divorce lawyers and real estate agents who focused on summer houses and cottages in the Czech Republic. So we thought we’d end the year with something nicer and more positive - you know, it wasn’t all that bad. So we asked some of our friends from the food industry, many of whom were guests of our podcast over the last year, two very simple questions: 1. What has brought you most joy in 2020? 2. What are you looking forward to the most in 2021? We hope you find them inspiring. Have a fantastic 2021, everyone. Thank you for sticking with us in 2020.

There's a certain magic that happens when you sit down at a table in a new city, a magic that blends place, people, and plate. The Taste of Prague Podcast, brought to you by the team behind Taste of Prague Food Tours, digs into that very feeling. While our heart is firmly in the cobblestone streets and cozy pubs of Prague, our curiosity-and our microphones-wander far beyond. Each conversation explores how food shapes culture and how business, history, and personal stories simmer together in every local dish and dining tradition. We talk to chefs, producers, writers, and fellow travelers who see the world through a culinary lens. You'll hear about the hidden spots that define a city's character and the universal joys of discovering a perfect meal. This isn't just a checklist of where to eat; it's about the connections and contexts that make travel truly flavorful. Tune in for thoughtful, grounded stories that celebrate the journey as much as the destination, one bite and one conversation at a time.
