Loki is a husband, father, chef, and founder of the Trust the Loki food retreats and the Loki Cooks Fellowship (scholarship program). Loki dedicates his time to creating experiences, supporting, nurturing and mentoring others who have a purpose and passion for food. Loki was born in Mysore, but raised in the city of Chennai India, and moved to Australia in his early twenties. Loki’s journey has taken him from India to Australia, to graduating University, to becoming a husband, to becoming a father, to becoming the people’s favorite on popular reality TV show Masterchef Australia, to Indonesia, to creating food retreats in the Himalayas, to creating his self-funded scholarship program the Loki Cooks Fellowship and beyond. Prior to this episode,  I watched a short clip on his website about one of his Himalayan food retreats and there was a quote from it that resonated with me immediately,  “If you love something. Do it. Don’t worry about money. Money will come. Don’t live someone else’s dream”. I really liked it and I feel that this quote echos Loki’s life journey.

Loki’s kindness and approachable nature make him loved by many, his passion for food translates into all that he does and it is obvious to me that making food for others is where he finds his purpose and sense of spirituality. On this week's episode, Loki is with me to share his journey, experiences, challenges, and hopes for the future.
