Ep 7 - Navigating freelance and mental health with Martina Gordeen

Ep 7 - Navigating freelance and mental health with Martina Gordeen

Author: Harriet Stockwell & Britney Beeby July 12, 2022 Duration: 1:06:03

We have been wanting to chat about mental health for ages now, but it’s even more apparent that this conversation is necessary post-pandemic. We are not all cookie cut-outs from the same dough, yet the system we are born into; school, work environment, isn't set up quite well enough yet for all our individuality. How do we find the work, that works for how our minds operate? So we chatted to someone who’s experiencing this in real time – Martina Gordeen – a freelance content creator and cultural consultant. A self described young, black woman who’s assertively taken her future into her own hands by recently going freelance, while dealing with overcoming grief, being neuro divergent and suffering from mental health problems.

Please note, we are not professionals nor is our guest, please seek qualified and professional help if you are experiencing any mental health issues.
