Author: Bake With A Legend September 25, 2019 Duration: 54:58

This week we were all thrown back nearly 100 years to the 1920s for yet another new GBBO theme to debut in series 10.

Four custard pies, 18 beignets soufflés and one prohibition cake later, we said goodbye to not one but two bakers this week as finally the double departure came forth.

Jane and Howard weren’t entirely sure the right bakers left or that we need new themes in GBBO but both found common ground on the back of our self raising selfie story, believing that when it comes to judging cake competitions around the country, spiralizers as prizes remain the best way forward.

We've loved hearing from our listeners - get in touch with your comments or questions via our email: thebakedown@bakewithalegend.com or tweet us @bakewithalegend. We want to hear your obscure and wonderful stories about meeting a Bake Off Star.

Bake With A Legend offers baking classes with former GBBO stars and you can find out more information on our website. It's perfect for a group activity such as a hen party, birthday or team building event.
