Ep. 615: Selling Courses About Selling Courses About Selling Courses

Ep. 615: Selling Courses About Selling Courses About Selling Courses

Author: Danny-J Johnson & Jill Coleman February 25, 2026 Duration: 32:30

Have you ever seen a course being sold by someone who teaches you how to sell courses about building courses? We love the internet business space and we think there’s so much good shit out there you can learn, but unfortunately for as many honest and hard working entrepreneurs there are, there are even more scammers, grifters, and snake oil salespeople. Sure, you can make a great living online, but it’s never been as simple as just “make a course and then sell tons of units,” as much as we’d like it to be. Selling courses, building an online business, and developing a personal brand is tough work, and anyone who tells you otherwise is lying. Or trying to sell you something. Most likely, they’re lying in order to sell you something.

Selling courses about selling courses [3:49]

If it was that simple, everyone would do it [6:50]

It lacks integrity [10:22]

A course on how to make money on OnlyFans [12:22]

Not everyone can have the same level of success [15:14]

We attract who we are [18:29]

The beginnings of a pyramid scheme [21:02]

Do the ends always justify the means? [23:54]

What worked for you won’t always work for me [26:44]

Hosted by Danny-J Johnson and Jill Coleman, The Best Life Podcast is a candid conversation about building a meaningful existence on your own terms. This isn't about generic advice; it's a practical exploration of how the pieces of a fulfilling life actually fit together. You'll hear discussions that connect the dots between practical ambition and personal well-being, tackling topics like smart productivity systems, the psychology behind money mindsets, and navigating relationships with honest communication. The dialogue often draws from principles of positive psychology and cultivating abundance, not as separate goals, but as integrated parts of a whole. The aim is to move beyond just success in business or fitness-though those are in the mix-and toward a more cohesive vision. Each episode in this podcast is designed to challenge assumptions and offer actionable perspectives, whether the subject is entrepreneurial resilience, mental health, or redefining what personal achievement really means. It's for anyone questioning the standard blueprint and actively constructing a life that feels genuinely chosen, not accidental. Tune in for thoughtful, often unconventional, takes on self-improvement that acknowledge the messy, non-linear path of real growth.
