We’re back in Proverbs — and these chapters pull no punches. Wisdom is urgent, costly, and essential. • Don’t wait for wisdom to be handed to you — pursue it actively, invest in it, and surround yourself with people who walk in it
• Shortcuts almost always lead to slavery — financial, emotional, or spiritual
• The best thing you can leave your children is not money, but a good name and a legacy of wisdom
You don’t need to wonder what Proverbs is trying to say. It tells you straight. This is a father pulling his son close and saying, “Please don’t blow your life.” And if we’re listening closely, we’ll realize that voice isn’t just Solomon’s — it’s God’s too.
