Keisha Reaves has been in the mental health field for more than ten years. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Human Services from Clayton State University. She then completed her Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychology at the University of West Alabama. Keisha has worked with children and adolescents in the DFCS setting, children and adults with developmental disabilities, and she has worked in the hospital setting helping patients with acute diagnosis and substance use disorders. Serving women with life transition issues, postpartum depression, infertility, and women who have experienced child loss has become her specialty and passion. She likes empowering women of all sorts and encouraging women through holistic practices and talk therapy. With her passion for maternal mental health, Keisha’s mission is to educate, support, and uplift other women who are experiencing difficulties in their own maternal cycle. Motherhood can be trying and can affect women in various ways which are why Keisha not only provides counseling, but also facilitates workshops, training, support groups, and speaking engagements to encourage mothers to push through.
