The Catholic Morning Show - 09/12/2025

Today on The Catholic Morning Show Fr. Chris Reising - Fr. Chris talks about the gospel for the upcoming Sunday, the 24th Sunday in Ordinary Time. He gives us encouragement to not complain like the Israelites did, but instead thank God for His work in our lives. -------- Leah Libresco Sergeant - Leah shares insights from her new book, The Dignity of Dependence: A Feminist Manifesto. She challenges the misconception that equality requires women to be just like men, exposing the lie that sameness is the measure of worth. Instead, she emphasizes that every person possesses the same inherent dignity and invites us to embrace, rather than erase, the natural differences between men and women. Leah converted to Catholicism in 2012. She is the author of three books, most recently "The Dignity of Dependence: A Feminist Manifesto". Her freelance writing has appeared in The New York Times, First Things, The Dispatch, The New Atlantis, she has spoken at World Youth Day. She works in family policy in Washington D.C. and lives in Maryland with her husband and children. -------- Jeanne Thill - Jeanne gives a preview to "Making It Personal" with Bishop William Joensen. -------- Fr. Reed Flood - Fr. Flood, Chaplain at Dowling Catholic High School, talks about the life of Fr. John Acrea. He also shares his personal stories with Fr. Acrea, like his influence on Fr. Flood when he was discerning the priesthood.
