But they find the planet in grave danger from an alien probe attempting to contact now-extinct humpback whales. The crew must travel to Earth's past to find whales who can answer the probe's call and save the galaxy...AGAIN. The film stars William Shatner, Leonard Nimoy, DeForest Kelley, James Doohan, George Takei, Walter Koenig, Nichelle Nichols, and Catherine Hicks. Steve, John and Scott go thru the movie scene by scene to break down the direction, acting, storylines, cinematography, score, action sequences and more.
