Trump does fabulous job on reopening the country plan, been waiting for that WH briefing for a month. Americans are risk-takers. Hunkering down and hiding is not part of American culture. There haven't been any negative leaks from coronavirus task force. Fauci, Birx sign off on guidelines, haven't taken the bait to trash Trump. Reopening guidelines. WH task force has been example of exceptional leadership. More and more people on board with opening the country. Flattening the curve was only a means to elongating the crisis to relieve predicted overwhelming of hospital system, which never happened. Any bad news after reopening will be blamed on Trump. Kimberley Strassel worried Democrats setting up Trump for failure, Conrad Black thinks Dems don't stand a chance against Trump. Germany to reopen next week, 35 states have lower case per million rate than Germany. Trump tweets about Cuomo, reopening Michigan, Minnesota. Let's see which states succeed and which fail.

WH briefing changed the subject, now everyone is talking about opening the country, not the disease. Optimism is infectious. Biden doesn't know where he is, gives nonsensical answer on CNN. Trump slaps Cuomo: less talk, more action. Trump tweets about Pelosi, Schumer, calls for states with Dem governors to be "liberated". CDC projections on March 13th were way off. Fauci, Birx, WH task force. The American people will decide when the lockdown ends. HBO's Chernobyl.
