The Electro Swing Podcast
MusicInterviews

In this very special episode, Offbeat is joined by the legendary Gramophonedzie, the man behind the global smash "Why Don’t You" - a track that stormed the charts and helped bring Electro Swing to the mainstream.

Marko shares the wild ride that followed, from being personally thanked by Peggy Lee’s granddaughter to getting access to rare Louis Armstrong stems, and even a near collaboration with Shakira.

But it’s not all glitz and glamour. He opens up about the darker side of success, including exhausting tour schedules, industry politics and the emotional toll that comes with it all.

We also dig into his thoughts on today’s Electro Swing scene and whether we’ll hear more from him in the genre soon.

Truly an unmissable episode with one of Electro Swing’s true trailblazers!
