The debut episode of The Electro Swing Podcast invites listeners backstage to meet the artists behind the music, hosted by Offbeat. The series kicks off with Wolfgang Lohr, one of the most prominent names in the Electro Swing scene.
In this episode, Wolfgang shares insights into his creative journey, from his discovery of Electro Swing to his evolution as a genre-blending artist. He discusses his forays into styles like Disco Swing and hints at future mashups fans can look forward to.
The conversation also explores the rise of Electro Swing Thing, the label that has become a cornerstone of the genre. Wolfgang delves into the label's rapid growth, its long-term vision, and an exciting collaboration with Offbeat and Emma Lea, Dance Like Nobody’s Watching, set to release later this month.
Listeners will also hear Wolfgang’s reflections on the Electro Swing scene, its evolution, and its future. A lively quick-fire round reveals some of his proudest moments, dream collaborations, and unexpected interests outside of music.
Join us for an unforgettable conversation as we celebrate the rhythm, innovation, and passion that fuel Electro Swing!
