718. How To Rewire the Brain for Growth With Tiny Experiments – With Anne-Laure Le Cunff

Author: Mark Walsh July 15, 2025 Duration: 48:04

What if the key to personal growth wasn't radical transformation—but tiny, consistent experiments?

In this full-spectrum conversation, neuroscientist and Ness Labs founder Anne-Laure Le Cunff joins me to explore how to rewire our brains for curiosity, resilience, and sustainable growth. We talk about how our brains are hardwired for safety (and why that gets in the way of change), why embracing uncertainty is a learnable skill, and how to overcome the "insight trap" - where we understand a concept but still fail to apply it.

Anne-Laure shares tools from her book Tiny Experiments, including how to approach daily life more scientifically, balance structure with flexibility, and develop an identity rooted in exploration - not perfection. We also touch on creativity, burnout, goal-setting, and the neuroscience behind procrastination and decision-making.
