2022 Charlotte Smith: Having a Profital Mindset

2022 Charlotte Smith: Having a Profital Mindset

Author: Scott Shepherd, Host and Flower Educator September 4, 2023 Duration: 1:00:03

This week we're replaying one of our past episodes with our guest Charlotte Smith. She teaches farmers the skills they need to make money on their farms AND live calm, balanced lives through mindset coaching. Going against what most of us have been taught, Charlotte coaches in 13 countries to build successful profitable farms while also getting out from feeling overwhelmed, stressed and anxious. In 2016, Charlotte was named one of the Top 25 Most Influential Women in the World in Food and Agriculture by the non-profit, Food Tank and she is giving us a little dose of her coaching today on The Flower Podcast.

It was great to chat about the importance of our mindset with regards to our relationships to pricing, customers, and our own confidence.

This isn't just about pretty arrangements; it's a deep, root-level exploration of the entire floral industry. Conversations here weave between the practical realities of running a business and the sheer creative joy found in a garden. You'll hear from the people whose hands are in the soil-flower farmers and growers-as well as the designers, photographers, and entrepreneurs who translate that natural beauty into art and commerce. Each episode features a different voice from this vibrant community, sharing specific knowledge on trends, techniques, and the personal journeys that fuel a life with flowers. Whether you're a professional florist looking for savvy advice, a hobbyist seeking inspiration, or simply someone who appreciates the intersection of nature and enterprise, this podcast offers a unique bouquet of insights.
