22. How To Take Notes When English Is NOT Your Native Language

Author: Hadar Shemesh March 3, 2020 Duration: 28:09

Taking notes in class, a meeting or a lecture can be a challenge for everyone. So naturally, if you're a non-native speaker, this process can be even more challenging.

But! The secret is not in how to understand native speakers better or to write faster. The secret is what SYSTEM you use to take notes, and how to find the CLUES in the intonation of the speaker to write only the important stuff. So you save time and you don't waste your energy writing less important things.

In this episode, I will tell you what things you should NEVER DO when taking notes but also what you need to do in order to take notes successfully and feel that you're on top of things.

And if you have another great strategy that works for you, share it with us in the comments section of this episode! https://hadarshemesh.com/podcast/22/
