Author: William Umansky May 16, 2023 Duration: 50:32
Johnny, a successful personal injury lawyer, sued his former associate after years of litigation and spent over a million dollars in cash out of pocket. The lawsuit ended favorably with a multi-million dollar verdict and collection underway.

Johnny built his law firm with a focus on creating a healthy and innovative environment for his employees. He hired an attorney who he thought would help run the practice, but later found out that the attorney had a problematic background that caused significant losses for the firm.

Lawman and Johnny discussed how they could have done better in the hiring process of a lawyer who turned out to be dishonest and lied about his background. Despite initial doubts, they gave him a chance but eventually uncovered his lies and terminated his employment.

Johnny hired an associate who turned out to be a cancer in the office, causing him to lose good employees and friends. The associate manipulated the system before leaving, taking one of Johnny's employees and forging his signature to defame him and open a new law firm with a similar name, leading to a lawsuit.

Johnny discovered that his former employer had forged his signature and filed a criminal complaint and civil lawsuit against him. He hired multiple law firms and paid over a million dollars in legal fees to pursue the case, and is now in the process of trying to collect the fees.

Johnny and Lawman discussed a trial where Johnny sued a lawyer for unethical behavior and won a $2.3 million recovery. The trial lasted around nine days and Johnny testified, feeling out of control during cross-examination.

Johnny discussed his experience with a legal battle, including the high cost and emotional toll it took on him. He ultimately felt relieved and grateful for the verdict in his favor.

Johnny and Lawman discussed the difficulties and challenges Johnny faced during a legal battle with a former employee who stole clients and defamed his law firm. Despite the emotional and financial toll, Johnny was able to focus on the truth and ultimately prevail, with the support of his wife and loyal employees.

Johnny discussed the importance of treating employees well and providing a healthy work environment.
