Wendy introduces Peppermint Patty, a six-month-old dilute tortoiseshell kitten with green eyes, available for adoption. She has feline leukemia (FELV), which means she needs a home where other cats also have FELV, or she can be an only cat. Wendy also covers the Humane Society’s advocacy work, including efforts to stop the gassing of Canadian geese, support for veterinary telehealth legislation, the proposal for pet license plates, Queenie’s Law to ban painful dog experiments, and bond and forfeiture bills for animals in cruelty cases.
