Skilled trades from all over the country converge in Ann Arbor every summer with some 6,000 union members attending training programs, giving a $23M boost to our local economy.  The educational expertise and amenities at Washtenaw Community College and Eastern Michigan University draw these union trainers here; the planned events and welcoming atmosphere through Destination Ann Arbor and the Main Street Area Association keep them coming back.
