October 3, 2025 ~ Lucy Ann Lance is joined weekly by Wendy Welch, HSHV Director of Communications. Wendy presents Torta, a small, three-year-old gray tabby cat available for adoption from the Humane Society of Huron Valley. Torta is feline leukemia positive, a condition contagious only to other cats, but she can still live a good, often lively, life with regular care, though it might be shorter. Wendy also promotes the “Muttster-Mash” Halloween event for kids and clarifies that black cat adoptions are handled normally during Halloween, countering old myths. Visit HSHV.org
