The Mind Of South volume 20 - GUESTMIX BY CARL REINS

Drifting between the pulsing energy of trance and the nuanced layers of progressive house, The Mind of South trance & progressive podcast offers a curated escape into melodic electronic music. Hosted by Slovak artist Senor Kuros, each episode feels like a conscious journey, built from his experience as a DJ and producer who crafts intricate soundscapes in Ableton Live. His background is as unique as his selections-a former ice hockey player who now channels that focus into building immersive audio narratives designed for both club sound systems and introspective late-night listening. This podcast serves as his primary outlet for sharing not only his own evolving productions but also a global roster of talent he admires. You’ll hear a carefully sequenced flow of uplifting and progressive tracks from artists worldwide, reflecting Kuros's dedication to the emotional and atmospheric spaces within the genre. It’s more than a simple mix series; it’s an invitation into a specific sonic headspace, where deep melodies and driving rhythms intersect. For anyone seeking a consistent source of discovery within the broader trance and progressive community, this podcast provides a reliable and thoughtfully compiled soundtrack. The entire project is a personal endeavor from Senor Kuros, showcasing the artistic vision behind the decks.
