The Mishlei Podcast
Have any questions, insights, or feedback? Send me a text!
In our morning Mishlei shiur (11/4/20 at YBT) we set out to refine our understanding of 18:4, which we've been working on for the past two days. Instead, we learned a new approach from Rashi which happened to tie into an idea we discussed in our Koheles shiur last night, rooted in the Rambam's commentary on Berachos Perek 9 Mishnah 5. This led us to Mishlei 12:25 (and Marcus Aurelius's Meditations 3:16 along with the story of Nachum Ish Gamzu in Sanhedrin 108b-109a), which we started working on and will continue tomorrow. Sometimes you gotta just go wherever Mishlei leads you!

דְּאָגָה בְלֶב אִישׁ יַשְׁחֶנָּה וְדָבָר טוֹב יְשַׂמְּחֶנָּה:
Note that we made lots of references to what we discussed in last night's Koheles shiur, which can be found here: https://youtu.be/lNXufTRAACg. I didn't bother to review what was said last night in this morning's shiur.
Please feel free to leave your questions, insights, and feedback in the comments!
