Episode 114 Tracy McClelland

36 Year-old Mother of three, Tracy McClelland vanished in Fenruary, 2007 in Tampa, Florida. When she didn't show up at the hospital for the birth of her nephew, her family feared something was wrong. In March, 2007, workers found the body of a woman, clad only in a denim skirt, buried in a shallow grave at their job site. Since there was no ID found with the body and due to decomposition, Detectives had to ID using serial numbers from her breast implants, and prints from her finger tips. The dead woman turned out to be Tracy McClelland. Police were tight lipped about the cause of death, stating only that there was upper body trauma and that the case was a homicide. Police had their work cut out for them trying to figure out who killed Tracy, and why. Tracy, once a possible student with dreams of becoming a teacher, had lost her way following the suicide of her brother. Devastated by the loss, Tracy sank into depression, and drug use, and alternated between living on the streets and crashing at friend's homes. 15 years later, her case remains unsolved. In this episode, Tracy's niece Malia discusses her aunt's tragic death, the circumstances that led to it, and her family's effort to find justice for Tracy.
