In this episode, we have Makarand Utpat, an award-winning book author, speaker, business advisor, and social entrepreneur. His expertise in different topics such as digital marketing and personal development is sought out by others who wanted to turn around crises or conflicts into opportunities. Today, Makarand will get into the five pointers about how you can reap the rewards and essentially what you need to know in the gist of what Facebook advertising is all about and what sort of benefits it offers you.

Pointers about how easy it can be to understand and implement

[0:58]

Number one, inexpensive targeting and economic targeting. When you look at the total number of Facebook users, we have close to about more than 1 billion users. It gives you a rich set of capabilities, comprehensive options based on configuring your parameters based on gender, salary, geography, likes, and dislikes preferences. If you know your marketplace in terms of their pinpoints, what is that they're looking for, your ad can become a success point.

[2:00]

Number two, extending the reach. The byproduct of running a Facebook ad is that few people end up like that ad. A few people end up sharing their data. So you wonder you're not targeting their respect to networks. When the people like and share, you immediately get access to a broader set of networks, and possibilities are essentially endless.

[2:32]

Number three, geography. So you can run a local campaign. You can run national, or you can go international.

[3:05]

Let's all remember that Facebook is a social media. People come there not necessarily to buy products and services, unlike Amazon, but they come there to interact with their friends who understand what is going on in their world. That relationship will be significant, and the way to achieve that correct way to get into the relationship aspects is by implementing a small funnel.

Three Phase funnels

[3:55]

Phase one is about the awareness phase, and that's the upper part of the funnel. You run an ad, make people aware of your product and services, and the outcome is that you end up generating the leads.

[4:11]

Number two is called the education phase. It is the middle part of the funnel, and your goal should be to establish yourself as an expert subject matter expert.

[5:08]

Number three, commitment phase. It is where you will know that lists have been generated. Lists are nurtured. They are reading your blogs. They are looking for more information. The emails are getting opened up, and this is where you make the sales pitch.

[5:38]

With several ways to approach your Facebook advertising, it helps to have someone who knows the ropes guiding reasonable efforts now.
