Changes Coming To The Eagles Offense And Defense? (PST Episode 676)

Author: The Philadelphia Sports Table July 16, 2026 Duration: 1:02:55
The Philadelphia Eagles will soon be heading to Training Camp as the regular season is right around the corner. What changes will we be seeing with the offense and defense this year as Sean Mannion takes over as OC and Vic Fangio plays around with various talent? Lou DiBiase from the Locked On Eagles podcast joined the podcast this week for a great and in-depth discussion about what we’ll be seeing this coming season.
But first, Jeff and Erik got into the amazing Home Run Derby spectacle put on by MLB and the Phillies. (Approx. 7:00)
From there, they discussed how the MLB Draft may change in the year to come, and if so, how it’ll change the talent pool and game. (Approx. 15:15)
The guys then briefly got into the Phillies Draft and the top picks. (Approx. 27:55)
What do we want and need the Phillies to do on the field as they start the second-half of the season? (Approx. 33:00)
The guys finished their discussion by getting into the reports that Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey, and Jaylen Brown have been actively trying to recruit LeBron James to Philly. (Approx. 39:35)
What they threw down on the Table this week was a fantastic discussion with Lou DiBiase from the Locked On Eagles podcast about the upcoming Eagles season. What might the symbiotic relationship between Sean Mannion and Jalen Hurts look like? How might the rushing attack change under Mannion? Cooper DeJean: the chees piece. Thoughts about the pass rush and should there be concerns? Will Jake Elliott have competition in camp this year? All of this and much more this week on the Table! (Approx. 47:45)
