Season 3 - Ep. 3 - Counterpunch's Long Punk Journey and Their New Album Rewire

Author: Powered By Rock August 8, 2022 Duration: 58:43

Today we are going to be speaking with Eric Hausser from the punk band Counterpunch.

Counterpunch has been around the skate punk scene since about 2006, and they released their 4th studio album Rewire in June 2022 after an extended break of about 8 years since their last release.

I thoroughly enjoyed the new album, and I wanted to dig into it and other great conversations with Eric about Counterpunch and find out how the 8 year gap shaped the new songs.

We’ll dig into Eric’s brain like a neurosurgeon right after this.

Intro Music: "Colorado" by Birds Love Filters
