Episode 386 - Return of the Grab Bag!

Episode 386 - Return of the Grab Bag!

Author: Austin Diehl August 5, 2026 Duration: 1:15:28

It's been several years, but I'm finally doing another grab bag episode! I get several questions a month from the audience, both here on the pod, on our YouTube, and on Instagram. While I do my best to get a complete answer to that individual, I don't always share those conversations. Not because I don't want to, but because I'm just busy. My new committment is to bring those questions forward in more regular "grab bag" episodes where I can take the time to more completely answer questions than in a DM, and can also share those questions for the benefit of the entire audience. It's been several years since the last one, and I've got a few good topics to jump in to!

Hosted by Austin Diehl, The Prepared Mindset Podcast moves beyond gear lists and hypotheticals to explore the practical philosophy of readiness for everyday life. This isn't about fear; it's about developing a grounded sense of capability and clarity. Conversations here delve into the tangible aspects of preparation-from practical planning and responsible training to personal accountability-framed within the broader context of our current society and culture. Austin brings on a diverse array of guests, many with backgrounds in military or law enforcement, not to glorify conflict but to extract valuable lessons on tactics, performance under pressure, and training mindset that apply to civilian life.
