Today I am joined by Anita Posch. Anita is a renowned Bitcoin educator, author, and founder of Bitcoin for Fairness, a non-profit initiative raising awareness and understanding of Bitcoin for people in emerging countries and for disadvantaged communities. Anita also has a new online platform we discuss, “Crack the Orange,” A scholarship program for aspiring educators and builders in the Global South to foster knowledge and boost Bitcoin adoption. 

In addition to all these things she’s been busy working on, we discuss the importance of bitcoin for marginalized communities and how bitcoin enables freedom for all through permissionless and borderless access. We discuss stories of people using bitcoin to escape authoritarian regimes, gain financial freedom, and overcome obstacles from the legacy financial system and how bitcoin has the potential to unite people across borders, genders, and ideologies if the community focuses on bitcoin's humanitarian benefits over politics.
