Once Jamie decided property investing would give him the lifestyle he wanted, he started doing two flips a year alongside his Dad whilst still working full-time. After a few years, Jamie and his Dad split the money they had made and Jamie started investing on his own. One of the negative sides of flipping properties is the waiting for the sale, it can take anything from weeks to months to complete. HMOs as an investment strategy can be a lot more maintenance and work than many people realise. You have to keep it at a high spec to continue to keep it at full capacity to generate the income you need. Jamie’s next step is to move to the U.S and expand his business. Having a good social media presence means potential clients will already feel like they know you, there is a relationship being built before you even speak let alone approach making a deal.
