Oba Femi won the King of the Ring tournament in dominant fashion, from the qualifier to the finals, where he bested Jey Uso, thus earning a World Title shot. But as we learned on Monday, the need for revenge sometimes trumps the hunger for gold. The Ruler stays in the SummerSlam main event picture nonetheless. Now, instead of chasing a championship, Oba will face Brock Lesnar in a Hell in a Cell Match in what should be the final bout in their brutal trilogy this year. Will Brock be unbeatable in his hometown, or will Oba avenge the only blemish on his win-loss record since coming to the main roster? We’ll give you our thoughts here.
Now about those belts. What a joyous victory for Sami Zayn and all of his fans as the lauded workhorse finally took home the big prize, not only winning the Undisputed WWE Championship but pinning WWE’s QB1, Cody Rhodes, in the process. Cody is definitely coming back for a rematch, but Sami also has to look out for his one-time Bloodline member, Jey Uso. Jey has his eye on bringing the championship back to his family. We’ll break down the ramifications of that as well.
Even bigger than that, Seth Rollins came out at the end of Raw and delivered one of his best and most heartfelt promos ever as he challenged Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship at SummerSlam. The Tribal Chief had no choice but to accept, noting that he doesn’t want to beat The Visionary—he “needs” to beat his former Shield “brother.”
SummerSlam is off to an incredible start, with WrestleMania-worthy main events and tremendous hype surrounding them. We dive even deeper into those matchups, as well as the women’s championship picture. Like, share, subscribe, and keep it locked here.

There’s a rhythm to wrestling-the promos, the entrances, the larger-than-life characters-that has always echoed the beats and bravado of hip-hop. The Rap On Wrestling explores that specific crossover, hosted by veteran journalist Shaheem Reid. He isn’t just recapping matches; he’s unpacking a shared cultural language. Each conversation in this podcast goes beyond the surface, whether he’s talking with a rapper about their favorite wrestling era or breaking down a legendary crossover moment with the wrestlers and producers who were actually there. You’ll hear stories about how hip-hop influenced certain personas and entrances, and how wrestling’s theatricality has inspired lyrics and music videos. The discussions get into the craft behind both worlds-the storytelling in a well-built feud and the storytelling in a verse. It’s for anyone who’s ever nodded along to a wrestler’s theme music or recognized the wrestling reference in a rap bar. By sitting down with artists, wrestlers, and behind-the-scenes voices, Shaheem connects the dots between the performance in the ring and the performance on the track, revealing how these two powerhouse forms of entertainment have fueled each other for decades. Tune in for a deep, authentic look at where the microphone in the booth meets the one in the squared circle.
