Curtis McGrath Lost His Legs In Afghanistan. Rachel Never Left His Side | Acts of Service

In 1991, the quiet rural community of Coolah, New South Wales, was shattered by a brutal crime. Penny Hill, a young woman who had just begun what seemed a dream job, was found savagely beaten and left for dead on a roadside. Her new employers were Col Baigent, a former drummer for Billy Thorpe and the Aztecs living a rock star's life off-stage, and his wife Barbara. The Rock Star & The Nanny examines the chilling aftermath of Penny's attack just three days into her nanny role, a case that spiraled into a complex web with five distinct suspects. Produced by the Pacific Podcast Network, this true crime series meticulously delves into a story that has lingered unresolved for decades, creating ripples of suspicion and heartache. Through careful investigation and interviews, the podcast uncovers new evidence and perspectives, piecing together a haunting narrative about fame, tragedy, and a search for justice that continues to obsess those who remember. Each episode draws you deeper into the layers of a small-town mystery where the glamour of a musician's lifestyle collided with a horrific, violent act.
