12. MK ULTRA

"Teddinatin' Vol II: My Balls is Hot" by Alfred and the Teddinators available everywhere.

Golgothan music available at BandCamp and everywhere too (I think)

On today's show, Jesse and I wanted to look into MK Ultra and see what it was all about. Turns out, MK Ultra is NOT a superhero movie from the 80's. It is, on the other hand, another very dark crevice of American history and politics. A crevice that most institutions don't care to share too much about if the topic comes up. We rant a few times on the recent BS coming from some articles about Big Tech Censorship. It's really something else, I tell ya. Subscribe and like our show, it really helps. But more so, sign up for our Patreon and help us keep the reading lights on.

Tune into The Skepsis Telegraph for a thoughtful and meandering exploration of the arts and literature. This podcast operates from a curious premise: investigating the gaps and uncertainties within subjects we assume we understand. Rather than offering definitive answers, each episode leans into the questions that linger around creative works, historical contexts, and the ideas we take for granted. You'll hear discussions that feel more like a deep-dive conversation among friends, one that values skepticism and nuance over simple explanations. The host guides these explorations with a calm and inquisitive tone, making complex topics in arts and books feel accessible and newly mysterious. It’s a space for anyone who finds that the more they learn about a favorite novel, a piece of art, or a cultural moment, the more intriguing unknowns begin to surface. This isn’t about recap or review; it’s about the fertile ground of what remains unsaid or unseen. The result is a consistently engaging podcast that challenges listeners to reconsider their own knowledge and assumptions. If you enjoy conversations that wander off the main path to examine the interesting shadows and edges of a topic, you’ll find a rewarding home here.
