Episode 2: Why Were You There?

A hiker named Buddha Kline went missing in the Carson National Forest, his disappearance tied to the legendary Forrest Fenn Treasure hunt. That real-world mystery is the unsettling launchpad for The Subjective Truth: An Audio Drama, a fiction podcast from creator Jeremy Ellett. Host Graham Anderson guides us through the investigation, but the search quickly spirals into something far stranger. This isn't a straightforward true-crime tale. As Graham digs deeper, the narrative bends, weaving together unexpected threads of futurology, moments of dark comedy, and genuine horror, all while probing the elusive nature of what we consider real. The audio drama format allows the story to immerse you completely, making you question every clue and testimony. Each episode pulls you further from a simple answer and deeper into an experience where reality itself feels unstable. You'll follow Graham's journey as she confronts high strangeness and fragmented truths, all in pursuit of solving the central, haunting question: what truly happened to Buddha Kline? It's a carefully crafted, genre-blending story designed to engage your imagination and unsettle your perceptions, one episode at a time.
