27. Psychoanalyzing the Mystical Experience | An Introduction to Stanislav Grof

Author: Alexander Sachon January 21, 2022 Duration: 51:01

This episode continues in a series that investigates the contents of my new publication "Psychology: The Science of the Soul". Here we go into Ch. 2, which delves into the work of psychologist Stanislav Grof whose career was focused on the study of "non-ordinary states of consciousness." In particular, he focused on a special category of such states which he termed "Holotropic experiences" - these involve mystical and spiritual encounters with archetypal elements of the collective unconscious. Tune in to find out more.
