40. Manly P. Hall - "Mahamaya, Mother of the Buddha" | Buddhist fundamentals explained

Author: Alexander Sachon June 2, 2022 Duration: 1:35:04

In this episode we will be furthering our study of Mahayana Buddhism by analyzing one of Manly Hall's many lectures on the topic, one called "Mahamaya, Mother of the Buddha". It goes back over some of the content we covered in the previous episode, while also introducing and exploring new aspects of the philosophy. I will shortly have a new article also on the topic of Mahayana Buddhism that further analyzes its philosophical teachings, with this article's particular focus being on Mahayana Buddhism's doctrine of spiritual cosmology and on its Messianic prophecy of the Buddha-to-Come, Maitreya.
