A liver transplant improves the length and quality of life for children with liver diseases, liver tumors, or metabolic conditions that will be improved or cured with liver transplantation. The Pediatric Liver Transplant Program at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital is the first and largest program in the state. Since 1986, team members have performed more than 400 pediatric liver transplants.
