Amotz Eyal | Sharing Israel's Story | Israel-Hamas War | Conversation with Shana Meyerson

For many people around the globe—pro-Israel, anti-Israel, Jewish, non-Jewish—the 10/7 War is their first real awareness of the Israel-Gaza Conflict.

We are all being bombarded, day in & day out, with a surreal narrative wherein 97% of all articles about the war cite Hamas terrorist sources rather than those of the legitimate, democratic government of Israel.

Or should I say, the Jewish State?

Because, let’s be honest. This sickening and extremely detrimental bias is deeply antisemitic. People don’t want to say it. But it is.

Don’t believe me? How many times were ISIS, Taliban, or Al-Qaeda sources quoted in the War on Terror instead of the United States? I rest my case.

But this extraordinary prejudice is actually not a new phenomenon at all. In fact, Amotz Eyal founded The Press Service of Israel all the way back in 2010, because anti-Israel media agendas weren’t just already a problem, they were already a crisis.

Today, Amotz juggles his elite IDF reserve service with his work as CEO of TPS-Il. A man who has been honored by the State of Israel for his exemplary commitment to his nation, Amotz is truly a hero on multiple fronts.

In this LIVE conversation, Shana Meyerson of YOGAthletica & Amotz Eyal discuss anti-Israel elements in the media & on the ground, and all the amazing things he is doing to fight them both.

If you are a yogi or yogini who takes the relentlessly pro-Hamas narrative at face value, you owe it to yourself to really understand how fabricated, counterfactual, and downright dangerous these lies really are.

Hosted by Shana Meyerson, The Yoga of War Podcast: Fighting for Israel & The Jewish People exists in the complex space where spiritual principle meets stark reality. This podcast explores the profound moral and ethical questions surrounding the Israel-Gaza War, specifically through a pro-Israel lens, while being grounded in the ancient philosophy of yoga. The central, challenging tension is between the yogic tenet of Ahimsa-non-violence-and the duty to defend one’s community as discussed in texts like the Bhagavad Gita. Each episode features conversations with a diverse range of voices, from activists and thinkers to community leaders, who share their insights and personal reckonings with this conflict. Listeners will hear nuanced discussions that don’t shy away from the tragedy of war but instead seek to understand the justification and heavy responsibility of a defensive fight. It’s a series for those grappling with how to hold space for peace and spiritual non-violence while confronting the necessity of standing for Israel and Jewish peoplehood in a time of crisis. The dialogue in this podcast is intentionally focused, offering perspective and depth on current events filtered through enduring principles of faith, politics, and human dignity.
