These ubiquitous micro-memorials each pay tribute to a fallen Israeli with a photo, a name, and an inspirational quote. Each and every one honoring an Israeli hero, an inspiration, and a universe.
It's easy to walk by these tiny tributes without notice, or to look for a minute and go on with your day. But Jeff Weiss did just the opposite. He started reading the stickers and he wanted more.
He wanted to learn the story of each person's life and to share it with the world. To create a precious online memorial that will bear testament even after the stickers fade.
Jeff created Stickers of Meaning as a gift to Am Yisrael. A nation that forever bleeds for its fallen and stands tall and strong with its warriors.

Jeff Weiss lives in Tel Aviv, where in 2024 he founded Stickers of Meaning, a project that preserves and educates about the memorial stickers that have appeared throughout Israel since October 7, 2023—honoring the fallen and inspiring the living with messages of love, purpose, daring, and joy.
Jeff is the co-author of Fighting Back: Stan Andrews and the Birth of the Israeli Air Force, and I Am My Brother’s Keeper: American Volunteers in Israel’s War for Independence. He is featured in the 2014 Nancy Spielberg documentary “Above and Beyond” (available on Amazon Prime) about American members of the Israel Air Force in 1948, which received 22 film festival awards.
Jeff is also the author of Racing Against Time: On Ironman, Ultramarathons and the Quest for Transformation in Mid-Life, a fitness memoir.
In addition to undergraduate and law degrees, Jeff holds Master’s degrees in International Law from Georgetown and in Biotechnology from Johns Hopkins.
