Karoline Preisler is a lawyer & politician, born in East Berlin in 1971. She studied law in Potsdam & currently lives and works in Berlin. Karoline has been politically active since 1985 & has been a member of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) since 2013. She authored the book "Enduring Democracy! On Arguing in a Society of Outrage," (published by Hirzel) which won the AMOS Prize in 2022. The Jüdische Allgemeine newspaper headlined Preisler as "Woman with Stance," and BILD calls her "Germany's Courageous Demonstrator."
