It's October 7th, 2025.

Two years ago today, thousands of Hamas terrorists and “innocent Gazan civilians” flooded into Israel to bake babies, behead men, rape women, massacre Holocaust victims, and brutally kidnap children. Oh, and dismember kibbutzniks, declare open season on concert-goers, and burn down entire communities.

Today, 48 hostages, both alive & murdered, remain in Hamas captivity where they are starved, tortured and manipulated as pawns in a sick game of psychological terror levied on Israel & the Jewish world.

The world’s response: “Ho hum. Let’s talk about dead Gazan babies.”

There’s been an anti-Israel disinformation campaign frantically whitewashing the atrocities of 10/7, sometimes to the point of actual erasure.

As we watch dangerous historical revisionism unfurl its blood-red carpet across the internet, the voices of those who keep the memories alive are those who will ultimately set the historical and moral record straight.

Thane Rosenbaum is one of those voices.

In this conversation, Shana Meyerson and return guest, Thane Rosenbaum, discuss the importance of this moment, the history that preceded it, and the accuracy of the historical record to follow.

Hosted by Shana Meyerson, The Yoga of War Podcast: Fighting for Israel & The Jewish People exists in the complex space where spiritual principle meets stark reality. This podcast explores the profound moral and ethical questions surrounding the Israel-Gaza War, specifically through a pro-Israel lens, while being grounded in the ancient philosophy of yoga. The central, challenging tension is between the yogic tenet of Ahimsa-non-violence-and the duty to defend one’s community as discussed in texts like the Bhagavad Gita. Each episode features conversations with a diverse range of voices, from activists and thinkers to community leaders, who share their insights and personal reckonings with this conflict. Listeners will hear nuanced discussions that don’t shy away from the tragedy of war but instead seek to understand the justification and heavy responsibility of a defensive fight. It’s a series for those grappling with how to hold space for peace and spiritual non-violence while confronting the necessity of standing for Israel and Jewish peoplehood in a time of crisis. The dialogue in this podcast is intentionally focused, offering perspective and depth on current events filtered through enduring principles of faith, politics, and human dignity.
