TYF447- 12 Step Adaptation for Grief (step 1)- Powerlessness and Unmanageability.

This episode kicks off a three-part series inspired by an adapted 12-step program on grief and heartache, which has been transformative for me. The first step I'll discuss is admitting powerlessness over heartbreak—a humbling realization for someone who's used to being self-sufficient. Acknowledging my vulnerability has allowed me to embrace my needs, ask for help, and grow through this pain.

I'll also share three questions that have shifted my perspective:

  1. What did I do right in the relationship?
  2. What am I doing well in life now?
  3. What can I do for myself in this moment?

These reflections have been powerful tools for self-compassion and healing. Grief is tough, but it's also an opportunity to reconnect with yourself.
