Marten Every Week

Marten Every Week

Author: Trapping Today January 17, 2021 Duration: 1:08:25
From here on out I've decided to devote the podcast to marten trapping and Alaska each and every week. Haha okay, I'm kidding! Had a listener complain about too much marten and too much Alaska, and I got a kick out of it! In this episode we go over some great listener feedback from the season, with a focus on new trappers. Seems like I'm always getting emails from newer trappers who just found the podcast and I love hearing their stories! I try to answer some listener questions on topics like carcass disposal, avoiding cannibalism and birds, newspaper tubes and boxes for marten, stretching boards, lure use, and big vs. small baits. We also dive into the bill to ban trapping, HR8828, and as you might expect, I have an opinion on it, and some thoughts for the trapping community moving forward. Enjoy!
