In this podcast, we talk to Johnny FD Jen - a famous travel vlogger who chose Ukraine as his new homeland.


Johnny moved to Kyiv from San Francisco in 2021 and it was here that he met the beginning of the great war. Since then, he has survived power outages with Ukrainians, volunteered with Repair Together, and systematically raised money for the needs of the Armed Forces and Armed Forces of Ukraine through his YouTube channel, where he also talks about the realities of Ukrainian life, Kyiv's markets, the Superhumans rehabilitation center for military personnel in Lviv, and travels around Ukrainian cities.


In the podcast, we talk about how Johnny met the Russian invasion of Ukraine, his experience with Russian shelling of residential areas in Kharkiv, and the blackouts in Ukraine due to Russian terrorist attacks. We also touched on American politics, tried to figure out what would happen to the world if Ukraine falls, and why supporting Ukraine is extremely important for Western civilization.
