She  focuses on wellness, automotive, luxury, and culture writing for several publications, both national and international, including the New York Times, Elite Traveler, Luxury Magazine, Interior Design, AFAR, Architectural Digest, Departures and Cool Hunting.

Prior to transitioning into travel, she led the film team at Variety as a senior film and business reporter covering the studios, including Sony, Warner Bros., Universal and DreamWorks Animation as well as industry trends, co-financing deals, executive changes and the economics of the studios' film slates.

Prior to Variety, Alexandra worked for the Wall Street Journal, where she helped launch the Journal's culture coverage. 
 
A passionate ocean advocate, when she's not writing or traveling, Alexandra can be found surfing her local break.
