Introducing...Stripped

I don’t know about you, but I really love fiction and audio drama podcasts. It’s like a watching a movie, but with your ears. So, listening to a movie, I guess - but way better. And although South Africa’s podcast landscape has grown hugely in the last five years that I’ve been doing this, we haven’t yet ventured into fictionalised podcasts and that wait is over! South Africa’s first audio drama podcast has hit the air…um…internet waves and it is so good! So good in fact that I wanted to share a promo for it here in the feed to help get more listeners to it because I’d really like to see more of these. It’s also a really important story - the basis of which is actually a real life tale. Dive into the complex and often unsettling world of criminal investigations with True Crime South Africa. This podcast, produced by Killer Audio Creations, goes beyond the headlines to explore the intricate details of both solved and unsolved cases rooted in South African society. Each episode is a carefully researched narrative that examines the cultural contexts, forensic puzzles, and human stories behind these events. You'll hear detailed accounts that piece together timelines, evidence, and personal testimonies, offering a thorough look at how justice is sought and sometimes remains elusive. The focus remains squarely on South Africa, providing a localized perspective that considers the unique social and historical factors at play. By listening to this podcast, you engage with stories that are as much about understanding a nation's challenges as they are about crime itself. The production aims for clarity and depth, presenting facts while respecting the gravity of the subject matter. It’s an immersive audio experience for anyone fascinated by the meticulous process of unraveling real-life mysteries and the broader societal echoes they create.
